I am a diehard PC fan since I got my first IBM 640MB of RAM, two floppy drives for PCs in 1981. But with technological advances of recent decades, is really all about the operating system. And so I have had with Microsoft. I stick to XP, Vista prevents the ill-written, and the fear of impending loss of MS support for XP. But I eventually tired of the constant parade of Hobgoblin digital throughout the operating system of each computer - viruses, malware, resident monitor upgrade, anti-virus software, etc. All of these things undermine and destroy the operational performance of a PC.
I bought this low-end Mac mini, because the same processor as my PC was - and it was cheap. I bought 4GB of Crucial memory, watched the video on YouTube, and easily upgrade the memory to 4 GB in about 15 minutes. It was not the easiest upgrade I have - and certainly do not recommend it for beginners. But I have been building my own PCs for years. Accessories
