I had to return to the Mac Mini first came from Amazon, because the upper memory slot was bad. If I had not chosen to update the base memory, probably would not have realized that there was a problem only after the warranty expired. If you have two memory slots and you experience crashes after about 15 minutes walk, you can have the same problem. It was not easy to diagnose. Amazon return process, however, has provided a quick and painless.
Upon receipt of the replacement and upgrading to mini 4 gigabytes of memory, the computer is fast and stable, and is capable of all programs (CAD and Adobe) are running smoothly. It is also nice and quiet, especially compared to the G4 tower to replace.
The only problem I've had so far with the Mac Migration Assistant to copy the files and settings from the G4. The Migration Assistant is to have 1 minute, and it is difficult to find and delete the files that remain after the crash. This can only be problems of migration from an older G4 with tons of programs and files throughout the system. Has taken some steps to move the files manually.
Another thing to plan is that the hard drive is small, particularly if you upgrade from an old system and have a lot of multimedia files. Do not forget to budget for a sort of back-up or external hard drive, unless you're willing to a larger hard drive in the mini me.
Despite some of the problems I experienced, I am very happy with the purchase, and I feel like this will last for Mac (and prevent aging) for a long time.
